Male celebrities with female names
Do you know of any famous actors or other male celebrities with names normally considered to be female names (I mean true female names, not just unisex or "stolen" names, or names that are male elsewhere in the world)?I can think of two right now, both singers: the most obvious is Alice Cooper. That is his current legal name, though not his birthname from what I learned. The other I know is Rachel Bolan; in this case, it is just a stage name. I am looking whether it is their birthname, current legal name, or just a stage name.If you know a male personally in real life with a female name as described in the first paragraph, mention that too.

There's an actor in Spain (not very famous) named Zoe Berriartúa. As far as I know Zoe is an only feminine name, but I don't know if it could be also a Basque masculine name.

Marilyn Manson, of course. I don't know if it's his legal name or not, though. He made it up from Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson. There was a little boy named Loren Matthew born in Madison last year. I know it's a stolen name, but the guy who did the movie Super-Size Me was named Morgan--and one of the men he interviewed was named Kelly. :)Array

Yes it is...His birth name is Brian Hugh Warner, but he only want's to be known only as Marilyn Manson. No one but his family is alloved to call him Brian, and if other people do it, they usually get ignored. I'm a fan of almost six years and I'm glad you mentioned him.Marilyn: For Marilyn Monroe (Beauty and light in every aspects)
Manson: For Charles Manson (Because we all contain a dark side and Demons. Some are able to keep it in check and some are not.)That's why he chose it. Because we all are like this. I am and I know to what my dark side is, but I am able to keep it in check. He made me accept it and not be scared of my demons. - Charlie

Wasn't it also to celebrate two very different cultural icons of the 60s.

I guess Brian Hugh Warner was just too not-freaky for him.
