Personally, I don't find it very pleasing, but there's not really a reason, just personal preference. I would probably like it if I knew someone with the name. But I really like the meaning (joy, happiness) and I think the French spelling is interesting and pretty. And I always love finding good alternatives to tired and overused names :)
