I've tried to like this spelling of the name (because I like the sound - both hip and classy), due to the fact that I have a negative association with the spelling Margot.But... I'm sorry. I can't. Even if Margaux is a real town in France, and it's the spelling Margaux Hemingway used, as a name it looks like it's trying way too hard to be "cool." Margot is infinitely better, even with the silent T. (I think Margo is boring.) Margot makes a fantastic first or middle name.Margot Annelise

I actually like it, though I like the history of Margot. I think Margaux would be better received, visually, and pronunciation would be equally difficult. If you worry about that, go for Margo...though its not my favorite spelling. I would go with:Ophelia Margaux
Margaux Edith
Amelie Margaux
Isadora Margaux
Margaux Jamesina
Philippa Margaux
Margaux Leonora
Margaux Primrose
Margaux Rosamund
Tamsin Margaux
Vienna Margaux

I wouldn't touch it with a fallen date palm. So pretentious, it can't be anything other than funny.Margot, however:Margot Suzanne

I'm absolutely loving Margaux right now. And this is my favorite spelling as a first, as Margot reminds me of maggots, and Margo looks somewhat incomplete imo. Anyway, Margaux feels really cool, stylish, and fashionable in a vintage way. It makes me think of 50s/60s film stars, 50s dresses, quite retro. As for middles, (my combo's Margaux Sylvia Wren) I'd suggest:Margaux Evelyn
Margaux Beatrix (though with the double X ending, this is the one case where I think one of the other spellings might be better)
Margaux Belle
Margaux Fae/Faye
Margaux Daisy
Margaux Eleanor
Margaux Audrey
Margaux Imogen
