One of the books, "The Goblet of Fire" I think, has Hermione explaining to one of the visiting students from another country how to pronounce her name, and she does say it's Her-MY-o-nee. He was saying it Her-mo-ninny.
It's not a simple name, I don't think, and it's Greek pronunciation.

I remember that bit! That's how I learned how to pronounce the name. I'd been saying"Her-me-own" in my mind.
