Vivian, hands down!

Ulyssa just has that "ew" sound, but Vivian makes me think of a bubbly, lively young lady/little girl!

Definitely Vivian, but I prefer Vivienne. Ulyssa is ugly imho.

There was a Ulyssa at my son's school up until about a year ago. I don't dislike it irl as much as I thought I would. I just like Vivian much much more.

Vivian is definitely better, and I don't like Vivienne either - too ornate - but what about the more English Vivien? Tennyson used it, and who are we to argue?

I'm technically with Wordsmith - Vivien > Ulyssa > Vivian because I like Vivian (m).
But Vivian (m) is a GP ... so I'm going to pick Vivian f anyway, also because of the sound of you in Ulyssa. I think it would bother me if that were my name.
