I don't hate it but don't love it either. Seems dated to me.
I don't think it'd be mistaken for Faith, but that could partly be because I've never met a Faith, while I know several Fays.

Wow, I'm surprised you don't know any Faith's. Every third family with two daughters has a Faith and a Trinity in my area. I so hate the name Faith but I like Faye, that's why I asked.
