I have a lot of Greek friends and, in my experience, modern forms of names from Greek mythology are very popular - in fact, I don't think any Greek person I've met has had a name not belonging to or originating in Greek mythology. There aren't really any names considered too out there, either; where we would think Aphrodite or Hercules were unusable, they wouldn't be considered as such in Greece.

I'd give you a list of names, but then I'd just be listing a large group of my friends and my friends' friends, and I'd feel a little weird about that.
