Reid I prefer on boys, with this spelling.
Reed is only cool if you go all out with the nature theme like Willow Reed, Reed Sky, Glen Reed or Reed Ash. Actually Meadow Reed on a girl is quirky and fun. For Reid:
Reid Carlisle
Reid Emory
Reid Garret
Reid Lysander
Reid Abraham
Reid Monroe
(girls)
Reid Allison
Reid Gabriele
Reid Ophelia
Reid Salome
Reid Evangeline
Reid Laura
Reid Janice
Reid MichelleSince Reid a single syllable... the middle choice depends a lot on a surname imo.

I prefer Reid for a girl. Either for a boy.

I really like Reed / Reid!I can never really decide on which spelling I prefer. Some days I like Reid more, but lately I find that Reed looks better because the "i" does not interrupt it.But it's definitely a boys name to me!!Middle name suggestions:Reed Alden
Reed Calvin
Reed Cordell
Reed Donovan
Reed Elliott
Reed Eugene
Reed Fenton
Reed Finnegan
Reed Hudson
Reed Jackson
Reed Jonathan
Reed Laurence
Reed Lincoln
Reed Lucas
Reed Maxwell
Reed Mitchell
Reed Nathanael
Reed Quentin
Reed Samuel
Reed Tierney
Reed Tristan
Reed Wendell

I like both for either gender. I'm sure that didn't help. Haha. I've seen Reed on a girl, so I'm more inclined to that spelling. Reid, to me, is more masculine and I'd probably use that for a boy.
