I much prefer Evelyn. Evelyn Maeve is a gorgeous combo, I love it.

Evelyn! Aveline looks extremely made up, and I did think it was made up until I clicked the hyperlink. It looks like a messed up version of Avalyn, which is already messed up. Also, Evelyn is so much prettier.

Aveline is prettier and slightly more exotic. Evelyn doesn't really stand out at all for me. I do see Evelyn making a comeback, more so than Aveline. And no, I would not see Aveline as made up, because it follows a pattern of many other names (Evangeline, Caroline, etc).

I think Evelyn is definitely going to be making a comeback. It already has a degree of popularity on this board (and probably has for some time), and this board tends to either be part of or predict growing trends.

When I first saw Aveline I didn't know anything about its origins but it still looked like a "legitimate" name.

I like your combos Evelyn Clare (my grandmother's name is Evelyn Clara, as a matter of fact) and Evelyn Christine. I'm not very keen on the others, sorry.

I like them both ! Especially Evelyn Lisette and I would rather combine Audrey with Evelyn, not with Aveline, they may not sound the same but the double A written down bothers me though lol. Aveline Audrey is nice, though.

I prefer Aveline, but I think of it as AYv-eh-lyn, with the second syllable being nearly unheard. I've seen it before and quite like it.

I prefer Evelyn, but Avelina, if that makes sense.

I really like them both, but I prefer Evelyn. I've seen Aveline before. I do think Evelyn is making a comeback (at least it doesn't feel like an outdated name to me).

I love all the Evelyn combos. My favourites are Evelyn Maeve and Evelyn Lisette. Out of the Aveline combos, I only like Aveline Moira (Bronwyn is nms, and although I love the name Audrey, the double a does bother me written down even though they're pronounced differently)
