It's short and sweet without being overwhelmingly boring or trendy.

Good point about the balance. I'm curious how you preceive Elizabeth. To me, it's pretentious.

Elizabeth has been so common for so long that it's hard for me to view it as pretentious. I think it's an unoriginal but solid choice, as far as naming goes. I like the sound, and I can see the appeal. I'd put William in the same category, for guys.
