It's not megapopular where I live, but it gets more use than Tabitha. I like it! And I also like the 19th century connection: the early feminists took the biblical story of Jesus restoring the centurion's daughter to life, in which he said to her 'Young girl, get up', and used Talitha as a name but more often used Talitha, kumi as a kind of slogan or motto for girls' schools, women's associations etc.
