Talitha
I recently came across this name as I was watching a video and thought it sounded very nice and pleasant sounding. An alternative to "Tabitha"What do you guys think? It's said like Tabitha but with an L rather than a B of course.
Any combos you can come up with? (If not, no worries) (:

Not a fan of this one. It reminds me of talcum powder for some reason....

I prefer Tabitha but it could be worse. I don't like it enough to make any combos for it though, sorry.

I love it! It's more haunting and mystical than Tabitha, which I also love (albeit for different reasons).

It's not megapopular where I live, but it gets more use than Tabitha. I like it! And I also like the 19th century connection: the early feminists took the biblical story of Jesus restoring the centurion's daughter to life, in which he said to her 'Young girl, get up', and used Talitha as a name but more often used Talitha, kumi as a kind of slogan or motto for girls' schools, women's associations etc.

I know a Talitha. It's not my style but it's okay. In one sense I can respect it for its Biblical reference but it's also not a name in the Bible so I don't know if that completely counts in my books. The Talitha I know really suits the name.
