I didn't call YOU ignorant (I was using the word as a generalization and not directing at anyone) and was not even replying to you, but yes, if people insist it is only a Jewish name then they are ignorant of the history of the name as a Hebrew name that is used by Christians and Jews despite many of those in the religions not speaking Hebrew. I'm not arguing with any one's personal impressions, I am arguing with it being thrown around as fact that its a singularly Jewish name, which is untrue.
