I guess it could be cute in an old-fashioned way, but it doesn't sound fresh at all to me...
I associate it with middle-aged homemakers, probably because of Martha Stewart.
I also think of the Mary & Martha story from the Bible: Martha could never relax.

I just get the impression she's always busy, which reinforces the image of the name I've already got because of the bible character...and I've never met a Martha in real life.
When I try to imagine it for a kid, I think of a little girl in a polka dot dress for some reason, and polka dots aren't my style either.
