Re: Prairie
My niece has a best friend named Prairie and that was my first time hearing it (probably 3 years ago). I thought it was ridiculous at first, but it's been growing on me. I am from the Prairies, so it would be sentimental for me. I think I could easily be convinced to use it as a middle name, but as a first name it's just too whimsical for me. But if whimsical is for you, or if you are a poet-scholar, than by all means! I can't quite get over how it sounds like a descriptor in combos though. Like, "Which Agnes?" "Oh, Prairie Agnes". :)Three boys nappin', one mama namenerdin'

LOL. Prairie Agnes. Reminds me of this girl who used to get called "Chinese Susan".
