I dislike Lillian, but that's personal, I've had bad Lillian experiences.

I like Elise as a first name, but generally not as a middle name since it sits very blandly and "filler-like" in that placement. That goes for others, as well; Renee, Rose, Grace, and so on.

Although I must admit that I hate Lily, Lillian is decent enough.

Lillian, Lily and Elise are all pet-forms of Elizabeth so it seems really repetitive and dull to me.

Lillian is my sister's name, so I like it, though it's a bit popular. Elise is gorgeous. I think they make a good combo!
