A friend of a friends daughter had a new baby

Big sisters name is Kairi

Not sure how Rois is going to be pronounced. Mum and Dad are only very young, 19.

huh. seems like they want to be unique and end up making life difficult for everyone else. I would assume, upon meeting them with a nametag (in the US), that they were pron. like Royce and k-EYE-ree (like the character). Or Carrie. Kairi looks pretty, and I like the first pron. Sadly, if it is pron. like Royce, I cannot say the same for Rois. Or is it a girl and it's Rose? so confused!

It seems pretty!
However I'm imagining "ROHSH" as the approximate prn and it sounds a little too much like roach for my total comfort.
I hope it's not ROH-iss like Lois, though, nor Royce.
