Ryder Stefan, grandson to some members of our church.I think Ryder and Stefan are from different planets. They don't go together at all, in my book.I don't like Ryder. It's trying so hard. Also, it reminds me of the moving-truck company.Your thoughts, opinions, raves, rants ... ?

The name Ryder has always seemed so silly to me. It's baffling as to why it's on the Top 100, even near the bottom.

It definitely sounds like a rebel / bad boy name. I like it even though I wouldn't use Ryder for many reasons. Stefan is handsome and underused in my neck of the woods.

Exactly. Ryder tries too hard. I hate boys' names that want to hit you over the head with their masculinity. Although I also dislike those I find not masculine enough. I like a balance.Stefan just annoys me. I hate Steven and Stephen, but Stefan adds an annoy factor.

Hmm yes I see what you are saying. I like both names, but together, you're right, they are discordant. Although they are both sort of OTT "sexy" names to me...but one is cowboy and one is suave-European. Sometimes I rather like two different styles put together, but this one is meh.

Yeah exactly! I hate cowboy names. Or at least those I deem to be cowboy, it's always a matter of opinion.
