I know it is very dated but if you tried to look at it objectively (if possible)?
I'm considering incorporating it as a mn in some combos with the thought to highly consider it as a mn for a real child one day. It is a name of a mentor of mine and my brother is Michael as well so perhaps double honouring.
I personally hate the nicknames Shell or Shelly but find the full name quite lovely.
