Julia or Emilia?
I love both. Emilia is prn E-mee-lee-ah, not like Emma-Lia. I know most people prefer Amelia. We like it too, but we prefer Emilia for our sibling set. Thanks in advance.

I prefer Emilia out of the two, really love Emilia and have no strong feelings either way for Julia.

I love Emilia. For some odd reason I've never really liked Julia which I think is weird because I do like Julie, Julianna, and Juliette.

I think Emilia goes better with your sibset.

Julia. It's a classic beauty. Julia Emilia would be a real pretty combo though. Then you can have both. Both is good.

Julia by far. Emilia ia nice but kind of ruined for me, and it's likely to be mistaken for Amelia.

I much prefer Emilia. I think it's much more elegant than Amelia and less whiny somehow.

Julia. For me Emilia is too close to Amelia, which is one of my least favourite names.

I prefer Emilia by miles, miles and miles. Even just the spelling of the name radiates elegance and saying it aloud is a delight. Julia is pleasant, but a little dated to me.

Julia. no good reason, I just like it best.

Emilia - I really like Emilia but I pronounce it Em-il-liaJulia - I just see Julie as so dated, and although I recognise that Julia is less so I just can't get on board with it

I'd go with Emilia. Contrary to what everyone else said, I think Julia is a bit boring and dated. Emilia sounds a lot more elegant.

I personally prefer Julia. But I like Emilia. I know a little girl named it. I would not use it myself, or want it if I were to be a child, because of the reason poster JuliaF gave: it's too similar to too many other popular names (Emily, Amelia, Emma, Mila etc).

Hmm, Emilia could be confused with Emily or Amelia, which are both very popular. For this reason, I'd go for Julia. Good luck!

Julia. It's classic, beautiful, and timeless.

I love Emilia, but constant confusion with Emily/Emma/Amelia makes me vote for Julia. Besides, I'm rather partial to Julia anyway. ;)

Julia and Emilia are classic yet Julia is timeless.

I do prefer Emilia (eh-MILL-ee-ah) to Amelia, because the latter has "meal" in the middle of it.However, of the two you're weighing back and forth, I prefer Julia. It's a timeless name that people will always take seriously, and I doubt her name would ever be mispronounced or misspelled.
