To be honest, Wikipedia has a fraction of names that real Japanese people have compared to douseidoumei.net. After all, douseidoumei.net seems reliable enough as a source for me to use it (the names section contains 428,819 entries, so it's kind of an overview of how popular a name, for all ages, was). You might even encounter kanji combinations that you don't see in a dictionary (or, less often, Wikipedia - English or Japanese).
Anyway, Usagi is not as ridiculous, to me, as, say, Adamu with the kanji 男 that has sounds that are not pronounced like Adamu (I'm not sure if you're aware that that is a DQN name) or Pikachu with the kanji 光宙. And yeah, that's not all. Check out http://dqname.jp/ (in Japanese, but I'm sure you can read it) and you will see the many DQN names that I want to see it disappear.
