MUCH better than Randall, which I do not like.
I actually quite like both Randolph and Rudolph. Unfortunately Rudolph is reindeer-ruined (and I already have a reindeer daughter).
Randolph is quirky, almost clunky and definitely a hipster choice. I really like it.
Unfortunately, it is also the name of a town near me, so I would never use it. It's not a great town either.

There's a neighboring county here named Randolph, and I'm not sure I'd wanna use a name from anywhere around where I live. Shame really, that rules out Marion, Ina, Anna, and Franklin.
I love that Clarisse has a stuffed reindeer :) reminds of an anecdote I heard here or some other name site awhile back, where a lady was really hesitant to use the name Sebastian because she was afraid it was too heavily associated with the crab from the Little Mermaid. She used it anyway and then turns out, sort of embraced the association and had many a "Sebastian the crab" themed parties.

Both as bad as each other, in my opinion. 'Rand' sounds like randy and I associate it with red-nosed reindeer- so close to Rudolph! Not meaning to offend- only my opinion...
Worse. That -olph sound, like a frog swallowing an oversized worm, is astonishingly unattractive.
