Don't like it. It seems very babyish on a boy. On a girl it's mildly cute but also a bit childish, but since in a girl it isn't a nn for anything, it's a bit more acceptable. Jamie on a boy is much more likely to be James, and Jamie seems the most juvenile of possible nns. Jimmy is in the same vein but seems to age much better, at least in my own geographic area.
