Someone I worked with had his first child, a girl, about two weeks ago. Today was his first day back at work, and the first thing I asked was of course "what's her name?". And I'm pleasantly surprised!
They are naming her
Noor. They thought it was going to be a boy, and had planned on using Ilon. Ilon is used in Sweden, although it's unusual. there's about 100 people in Sweden who has Ilon as their FN (boys and girls). He said they wanted unisex names.
Another co-worker is currently pregnant with her second child, a boy. She already has a daughter named
Iva. When we were talking about names, she said they had planned on using
Blanka or
Bianka originally but it didn't seem to fit once she was born. She also mentioned that she wanted to use
Rosa as a middle name for this baby if it had been a girl. She didn't mention which boys names they were thinking about though.
