Do you like Kailo or Kylo Pronounced Kai-lo
If we were having a girl we would have named her Kyla? Do you like Kylo or Kailo for a boy? Does this sound made up?
I'm looking for a boy name similar to Kyla?

It sounds a little made-up or ultra-modern, but on the other hand, it's similar in looks and sound to more established (and trending) names like Milo, Arlo, and Kai so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
I think I prefer the spelling Kailo (it looks vaguely Hawaiian to me), and Kai's a nice nickname, too. I could warm up to Kylo, though. It looks a little more made-up or sci-fi ish to me. Though, unlike Kylo, Kailo could be confused as kay-lo so if that bothers you, you might want to use the latter spelling (people can deal with it, though, I say. Once they learn how to say it that wouldn't be a huge issue. It's not like it's hard to figure out or a super odd spelling).
As for other names similar to Kyla + Kylo, you could go with:
Kai - straight up, no chaser
Kyle - duh, I know, but maybe you didn't think of it?
Kylan - 'an'-ending names are all the rage right now, so he'd fit right in. Also, sounds like Rylan which is also used nowadays so it wouldn't be too strange.
Kaito - an awesome Japanese name
Kyler - another one that's out there already (mashup of Kyle and Tyler). Some hate it, some love it. You choose where you fall. Me, I'd go with Kylan over this one.
Khailo - don't know your background but this could be an awesome way to spell it (looks less like kay-lo to me than Kailo)
Kielo - note: this is a Finnish girl's name (pron. differently though), and also could look like key-lo, but if neither of those things throw you, it's another neat-looking spelling option
Kian (pron. like KEY-an, though not KYE-an)
Keir or Keiran (again, not the same sound, but you might like to try it out)

Aw, Kyla is my niece's name.
Kyle would be my boy alternative.
Kylo does sound made up to me and doesn't appeal.
Perhaps Skyler?

Of course it sounds made-up! :) I don't hate it, but I think Kaio or Caio would be better.
I'd pick Kailo over Kylo.

It sounds made up, but I quite like Kylo for a boy. I think it's a bit boring to just find a masculine version of the girl's name you have picked out though. Why not try to find something you really like, instead of trying to find a name similar to Kyla? Byt if you want a similar name, there's always Kyler or Kylan.
