Italian names
I have a family background of Italian and would like to name my future child an Italian name but because I have family members with Italian names. I need to choose one that is a bit less common or a good Italian version of an English name.

I honestly reccommend that you go with short Italian names to follow current trends (such as Delia or Flora and Bruno, Marco or Raul)
That said, Gisella is quite recognizable, yet beautiful.
Some others that are recognizable in English-speaking countries...
GIRLS:
Ada, Adriana, Allegra, Angela, Angelina, Annabella, Alma, Augusta, Aurora
Beatrice, Barbara
Camilla, Carla, Carmen, Carolina, Cassandra, Cecilia, Celeste, Clara, Clarissa, Claudia, Cornelia
Daniela, Daria, Delia, Diana
Elisa, Emilia, Emma, Evelina
Flora, Francesca
Gabriella, Gemma, Gina, Gloria
Irene, Isabella, Isidora
Laura, Liana, Liliana, Lina, Lora, Loretta, Luana, Lucia
