Dawni, Shawna and Tawny
I was, admittedly, looking up the 90s actor Devon Sawa (to see where the heck he and JTT have been) and read that his wife is named Dawni... which I have never heard.
(They also recently had a son, named Hudson).
Anyway - this led me to one of Devon's films "Little Giants", starring Shawna Waldron, as Icebox.
Both names, Dawni and Shawna, are not common and share a characteristic "awn" plus an unexpected ending. I've decided to compare them to the more traditional, albeit a bit rare, Tawny...
I wonder if these are tacky, sweet, usable, clever, etc. What do you think? Do you like any or all? Maybe you totally love one and raise brow at another. I want to know!
Dawni
Shawna
Tawny
Sound off.

I always loved Dawn, but Dawni sounds like a sickly-cute nn the family might call her.
Shawna is not uncommon, though very much a seventies or eighties name.
Tawny sounds like a stripper from the eighties.
