Because I have always had a soft spot for male names ending in -ander (which are usually latinized forms of Greek names or hellenized names from a different language and culture), I decided to compile a list of them, which is featured below.

I would be interested to hear what you think of all the names in the list, particularly whether there are some among them that you deem usable in this day and age (that is, apart from the very well-known ones, such as Alexander and Evander).

My personal favourites are marked with three asterisks (***). I think that most of my favourites are usable, though I find myself in doubt about whether they would work best as a first name, or as a middle name.
