8 Children - What would yours be?
Just because I'm bored and I don't think we've done this in a while...
If you had to have 8 children (gender and order is your choice), and knew you had to have 8. What would you call them?
I'll post mine shortly
:)
~ Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry ~

I used a random dice generator and I got this:
daughter
son
daughter
son
daughter
son
son
son
So my children would be:
Artemis Marian
Keiran Gareth
Fiona Eleanor
Quinn Arthur
Hazel Dorothea
Magnus Timothy
Rowan Cecil
Connor Edwin
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I like Freya.
I will say four boys and four girls and (today) they would be:
Jasper Emmanuel - My DS irl
Jethro Zion - My DS irl
Reuben Lior
Asher Elioenai
Lucy Alice Eden
Poppy Ruth Celeste
Milly Jemima Posy
Ivy Lula Phoebe
I would possibly change the other two boy's names to Jesse Asher and Jonah Elioenai. I know all four would have J names, but I do love them!

I couldn't fathom having 8 children. It would be so much work! Lol. I'd probably only have 4. I'll split it evenly among gender:
Zoe Helena (Hel-AY-nuh)
Selene "Lena" Susannah (Seh-LEEN)
Thalia "Thalie, Tilly" Felicity (Thah-LEE-uh)
Nicoletta "Colette, Etta" Clare
Dimitri Constantine
Augustus "Gus" Paul
Basil Benjamin
Elliott Abram

I like Zannie, but I'm really attached to Annie. It's been my favorite since I was little.
Thanks for your feedback :)
Thanks for your feedback :)
I do love Cece as an occasional nickname! :)
I like
Nathan Everett. Not so keen on Nate. But Everett really livens up Nathan
Dennis. Nickname Drew. I just find Andrew blah
Thomas. Dislike Tommy and Tom though
Jack
Leah is pretty, but I can't get on board with Frances. I just don't like it. Though I like Francis on a boy
Margo Elizabeth - not my style but its pretty darn cute
Olivia Jane - I like both names, but they are a bit dull together
I really like Paige Veronica. Very classy

ooo some very handsome boys names here.
I Love
Jude Benjamin, Henry Alasdair and Thomas Thackeray. You just know they'd be heartbreakers :) Not so keen on August, but that's just. I know most people here love August and Theodore.
I really like Georgiana, I just slightly prefer Georgina. Love the nickname Georgie
I also like Anneliese, Mathilde and Emilia Lucille nn Emmy

I think I first saw it in the games board a long time ago, listed along with word names and GPs and such. I've never thought about it until I recently rediscovered it. I love it! I think it's dashing.

It intrigues me because I really love Rafferty and Calloway and it kind of fits in with those for me. But I'm not sure if it sounds like a lisp-y version of Zachary or not. Hmm.
That's exactly what I thought. That's the only thing that makes me hesitant to use it, but I would as a middle name without hesitation. Oh, I really like Calloway and especially Rafferty!
The birth order isn't so much a correlation with how much a certain name is shining for me above the others, but an arrangement of colors and shapes that I find the most pleasing.
An "ahh" of understanding mixed with an "uhh you're crazy".
:)
:)
I love Xanthe
Thanks! It was a spur of the moment combo. Sonnet isn't usually a popular choice, but I do love it.
Your Xanthe Opal Esther is like my Patience Daffodil - The combo we never change :)
I really like the flow of Xanthe Opal Esther. I'm not too keen on Opal, but I really like Xanthe and Esther
Avielle and Reverie are not my style, but I like Carys
Sylvie Rowan Delphine is gorgeous
I really like Aderyn, Zuri is nice just not my style, not really a fan of Alaia
Geneva Ruby Iselin is cute. I especially like Iselin
August and Felix are too of my least favourite boys names. They're just not for me. I like Matthias though a lot
Sonnet Elodie Maeve is not my style, but it is adorable
I like Griffin and Oscar
Your combos are a bit more 'out there' than my tastes but some great names here and they make a very interesting sibset :)

Haha yep, XOE is my perfect girls name in every signle way. I'm guessing you feel the same about PD :)
Opal and Esther are after each of my grandmothers. Plus Opal is the national gemstone of Australia so I like that connection, plus it's my favourite. Plus I looked after two little girls for 3 years named Ella and Olivia and I like that the middle initials remind me of them (not named after them but a nice association for me). Plus long boring story about a particular opal in my family that adds to it. So all around loaded with meaning there.
Zuri also has really important significance which I prefer not to spell out here, but it's there for a good reason :)
Alaia is there because I'm in love with the meaning (Joyful). I also have it on my fn list.
I go back and forth between that and Geneva Ruth Iselin. Ruby honours my mum. Ruth honours the same grandmother that Opal does (and inadvertently one of my two sisters.) I like the posible occasional nn Evie Rue (for Geneva Ruby/Ruth).
Iselin I found on a coke bottle! When I was in Norway in August they were doing the "Share a Coke with...." promotion with popular Norwegian names (also in Finland with Finnish names and Sweden with Swedish etc! Drank a lot of coke on my summer travels ;) ) and Iselin was one of them. Had never heard it before but fell in love. Love that it reminds me of Norway (which I fell head over heels for and wanted to move to). Would have it on my first name list if it wasn't so similar to the Isabella names, and I'm not fond of the nn Issy.
