I personally think that any name with an "el" or "ell" in it can arguably have the nickname Ella.
I like Ella best as is, meaning, a full first name... but here are a few other options:

Elizabeth
Ellen
Daniela
Luella
Noelle
Eliana

Elspeth
Elvira / Elmira
Antonella
Elodie
Melody
Estelle
