I really don't like Roland.
I guess there's nothing wrong with the name per se, but I find it old, dusty, dated, boring,...the list goes on. However, Roland is a pretty common name for men age 50+ here where I live.
Joscelind Rain is great, though. I would go with Joss as a nickname.

Thanks. I'm somewhat in the same boat, as I cannot picture a little boy named Roland (hence the nickname), but I still like the name.
