What does everyone think of this Italian feminization of Edward? I'm quite smitten with it, especially since Eddy is one of my favorite nicknames for a girl. Do you find it too cumbersome (visually or sonically)? Is Eduarda, the Portuguese feminization of Edward, preferable?
My current favorite combination is Edoarda Beatrice, though I haven't devoted much time to creating combinations.

The transition from the o to the a makes my tongue trip more than the natural flow of u to a in Eduarda. Also, Eduarda is obviously a femininization of Edward, so the pronunciation is quite obvious. Edoarda looks very different and I didn't realize it was related to Edward until I had haltingly worked out the pronunciation.
I vote Eduarda.

I think this depends highly on where you live, as the name just sounds different in an Italian accent.
I personally like the name, but I would likely spell it Edwarda or Eduarda since I live in an English-speaking area. It's not really a simply name like Paola, so I predict general confusion when they see the name at first.
Also - will you be pronoundicng Beatrice the Italian way as well? Just curious.
I actually prefer the simple Edda to the full name (which I realize is not the same name, but inspired by).
I do love the combo though.
