The meaning of the word is kind of benign. If I wanted to use something because of meaning, I might choose Fable.

Story does not work as a name. For a word to work as a name, it has to have a meaning that is not mundane, and a meaning that can be considered positive in some way. Even Winter---a lot of people, maybe most people, dislike the season winter, but it does carry some positive associations, beautiful white snow, beautiful icy trees, skiing, sledding, snowmen, chestnuts roasting on an open fire. The word "story" is totally neutral as far as positive or negative connotations go. It's just too mundane to work as a name.

I think it's dumb, to be honest. It's so contrived and wordy and ambiguous and just silly. I don't see any advantage to it at all.
