What are your thoughts on Story for a girl? Is it usable?
Thanks!

No, sorry. It feels really silly.

I like it. I think it's so much better than names like Allyrah, Nervaya or Bryndalynn =P

I'm disappointed, I thought you were going to tell us a story!I wouldn't like to be called Story, so no, not really usable.

I don't think it is usable. It needs to go into the GP pile.

Because of the meaning?
Because you like the sound?
Because you want to stand out?The meaning of the word is kind of benign. If I wanted to use something because of meaning, I might choose Fable. I see nothing special about the sound, personally. It doesn't appeal to me on sound alone, I should say. Then sure. That's not the way I'd do it, but it will be noticed and it's not hideous.

I...don't think its usuable. Obviously someone is bound to use it and I'm sure there are girlz out there named "story" I just personally don't find it very realisticIf you want a name related to books and writing, you can try,
Levon for a boy. Its 'Novel' backwards (: I think thats pretty neat! (:

I don't like it, at all. It's precious and twee and it tries too hard.

When I saw your heading, I thought you were going to tell us a story!Story does not work as a name. For a word to work as a name, it has to have a meaning that is not mundane, and a meaning that can be considered positive in some way. Even Winter---a lot of people, maybe most people, dislike the season winter, but it does carry some positive associations, beautiful white snow, beautiful icy trees, skiing, sledding, snowmen, chestnuts roasting on an open fire. The word "story" is totally neutral as far as positive or negative connotations go. It's just too mundane to work as a name.

I think it's dumb, to be honest. It's so contrived and wordy and ambiguous and just silly. I don't see any advantage to it at all.
