Re: Alison / Allison

I see Allison as a ln - I've known several - and since I dislike lnfns in general (with a few exceptions like Stuart) that puts me off. I love Alison and would have used it but DH's family used to contain a very dodgy Alison relative who put them all off! Anyway, I love Alice and since Alison with one l is a diminutive, that's another reason for preferring it.
Alison Rosalie
Alison Jean
Alison Elinor
Alison Ruth
Alison Emily
Taylor Alison? I'd expect them to be separated by a comma, and to appear on an alphabetical list where the surname comes first. I know nothing about Taylor Swift - no doubt it's a person.
