I don't like Bellatrix because of the Harry Potter reference. She's pretty much the worst character, except Voldemort. Also, because Bellatrix was practically unheard of before HP, it is a VERY strong connotation.
Bella is boring. Yes, it's not short for Isabella, but in day to day life she'd still be one of 50 Bella's in the school.
