Italian names - help!
Does anyone have any good ideas on Italian sounding names that would go nicely with the last name DeAngelo? Some of my and DH's favorites so far are below. Can anyone help with more names and/or good combos -- even using names that aren't listed? So far we only have one possibility for a boy: Christian Joseph Salvatore -- the 2 mn's are his grandad's fn and mn -- but even that we're not 100% sure of. We need help!

Of your names, I love all of them but prefer Francesca and Isabella for a girl and Luciano and Salvatore for a boy. I also like Milo even if it isn't Italian and think it sounds great with your surname.
Names I forgot to add: Evelina and Daniela/Daniele.

Salvatore--I LOVE this name, too! And any combination of Joseph Salvatore/Salvatore Joseph is great!
You are so fortunate to have an Italian surname! I am about half Italian with an Irish surname (my boyfriend has an Irish/Scottish surname as well and not a drop of Italian blood), so most Italian first names would sound a little ridiculous with either of our last names (not that we're discussing names for our children right now...). I do love Italian names, though...some of these came straight from my Italian textbook, too. Good luck choosing a name! :)

Some of my personal favorites (like ones that I remember offhand and like, not just "I was looking through the Italian names and these caught my eye):
Nunzia
Vitalia
Antonina or Antonia
Teodora
Domenica
Cosima
Orlanda
Paola
Renata
Ciro
Silvio
Camillo
Carmine
Nino
The boys' names list gets pretty repetative for me because I like anything that's about two syllables long and ends in "o." :-) Doesn't really narrow it down.
My grandfather's family was Italian and these were the names of his parents and siblings, if you're interesting. :-) I thought they were pretty cool. Of course they were all anglicized eventually, which was too bad.
Antonio (sisters Natalina, Vincenza)
Caterina
Assunta
Virginie
Maria
Orlando
Domenico
Raimondo
Arduino
Giuseppe

Ileta
I don't think Ileta is Italian, but I have an Ecuadorian/Italian friend by this name and I think it's beautiful. It's similarly styled to a lot of Italian names.
