I'd pronounce it KA-raAs opposed to Kara, which is KAH-ra. I like Kara (prefer Cara) but Karra does nothing for me. Karri I don't mind because it's the name of a type of tree.

?CAR-a or CA-ra?To me this name should be pronounced CAR-a not CA-ra. If your after CAR-a, then I'm not so crazy about the name because it sounds like my name, only mispronouced. My name is Caragh pronounced CA-ra which I much prefer...but I guess I'm Bias because I love my name.

I am open to respellings - within reason - when I feel they're prettier on paper. I don't think Karra is at all. And it should change the pronunciation in some accents. 'Karra' would be said more quickly, because of the double 'rr'. Kara is gorgeous. _____________________________________________________________________♥Elinor♥

I dislike it. I like the name Cara, and I'm OK with Kara, but I don't like Karra. The spelling is just bad.

Not really my style, due to a family "member" with this name..My so-called "uncle" has a morbidly obese beagle called Karra (or Kara), so the name has never appealed to me. Still, I met a nice girl with this name and she was so nice! So I've got a splinter in my bum with this one!.:::BSCHOER10:::.~QUEEN OF THE GEEKS~

Don't like it. Cara is ok but not great. I dislike K names in general since it seems that so many trendy, vapid names have K sounds in them.

Prefer Kara, which is pretty, depending on the person.

Kara looks nicer, but it's too cutesy for me either way.

Very pretty! This is one name I like a lot of spellings for-Cara (my favorite), Kara, Caira, Kaira, Karra, etc... It's just a nice name!
