I've never been a fan of the
Cara Kara Carrie Keri et al. names. I went to school with plenty of them and it's always seemed generic and dated to me. A few years ago I met a Carra who is just really pretty and cool and awesome and a bit edgy-crunchy-tastic, and it's made me start to think of Carra (at least that spelling) differently. (And then I've also discovered the tastiness that is cara cara oranges, so I was thinking about
Cara too. Ha!)
Now I'm thinking Carra /
Cara is bright and sunny and sweet. Does anyone like it or does everyone else think it's blah and dated too?
Do you pronounce it KAHR-a or KER-a? I know phonetically Carra should be with a short A, and that's how I say it in my head, but I'm sure any I'd encounter do pronounce it with a long a. I do prefer the sound with a long a when said outloud, but in my head either seem fine.
I tried to make some combos to capture the sunniness I was getting from it.
