I had a friend when younger whose name was Priscilla. Her siblings all had similar old-fashioned sort of frilly names, so it worked, and she was fun and quirky, so she made the name her own. I think that that happens with most names. If you sense that a child of yours would meld with a certain name and you don't have major misgivings or think it's super weird then go for it!

I had an idea that Priscilla was mentioned in the New Testament, in St.Paul's letters, so I looked her up, and yes, she was. Seems she and her husband, Aquilla, (I think that was his name) were associates of Paul.
One of the letters mentions Aquilla and Prisca, which is kind of a nice touch, as though speaking of a friend named Deborah, you'd say "Deb", or "Debbie."
