I honestly don't have a firm opinion on this, which is kind of odd:) I've read the post several times without answering because I can't decide.
I don't think it's too "weirdly" out there...scores a point for me:)
I don't think it looks made up and like somebody can't spell...scores another point:)
But I am not sure how to pronounce it...Kay-yah, or Kye-uh?
If it's Kay-yah, I like it... I don't particularly care for the prn of Kye-uh though...

Ditto, I'm not sure whether I like it or not. I'm inclined to say I don't like it because the K looks trendy.

Interesting. K sometimes looks trendy to me, but I think Kaia looks old-fashioned. Not "classic" exactly, but definitely far from trendy.
I don't even know how I'd describe it... "naturey", maybe? It's not a nature or hippie name, but I can easily see it on some sort of homesteader living in a sort of wilderness setting, if that makes sense. (It also makes me think of Gaia, but a lot less "goddessy".)
