Re: BAs from UK - including Agatha, Christiana and Elsbeth
in reply to a message by Sofia
Agatha Sybil (Jessamy and Andrew), brothers James Peregrine and Benjamin William
- this sounds soooo old fashioned to me tbh, though I like these namesAmelia Rose (Stacy and Anton), siblings Ross and Amber
- simple but prettyAmelie Ann (Caroline and Ryan)
- simple but pretty again Autumn Ruby (Clare and Max), sibling Ellis
- I swear to god my sister gave this exact name to her pet hamster in middle school lol so it feels very strongly like a pet's name to me. Autumn and Ellis sounds like a strange sibset too for some reason Charlie-Mai (Nicole)
- Too cutesy for a full first name, and kinda surprised it's in the UK cause it's something I'd more expect from the southern US lolChristiana Grace (KatherineKate’ and James), brothers Christopher William Robert and Peter Jerome
- simple but pretty again. I do like Christiana better than Christina though. Lots of normalcy in these names, not that that's badClare Louisa (Martin and Marie Clare), sister Lucy
- I thought this was Clara Louisa at first and was like "I love it!"... it's still nice though. Daisy Neve (Gareth and Stephanie)
- Daisy is nms but I like Neve and the name as a whole is kinda cute actuallyElizabeth Genevieve Lucy (Anna and Edwin)
- All names I like though not in an order that sounds right tbhElsbeth Rebecca Mary Sandra (Catherine and Eyre), siblings Sydney Grace and Murray
- ick names are nms and the "flow" is terrible imo The entire sibset is ick tbhEyre John Patrick
- Eyre? Like Jane Eyre? That's strange to me. Is it said "ear" or "ire"? Neither sound pleasant to me at all.Emily Rose (Lisa and James), siblings Harry Edward and Phoebe Elise
Emily Rose (Veronica and Graham), brother James Alasdair
- pretty and simple x2Eva Marie (Claire and Tim), sisters Sophie Amelia and Iola Kathleen Mary
- pretty and simple. Interesting they name two of their daughters with very common names though and then give the other one a very unusual one...Eva Minnie (Ellen and Tim)
- Not a fan of Minnie or this combo tbh

sorry, posted in wrong place againI do love Agatha. I wonder if a child would love having it, though. James Peregrine is rather nice too, & Clare Louisa and Daisy Neve aren't bad either.
Christiana is undeniably pretty, but with a brother called Christopher?

I do love Agatha. I wonder if a child would love having it, though. Same here. In theory, I love the combo Agatha Sybil, I love both names individually as well. I'm just not sure how well it would wear on a child born today :/Random share of the day: Had I been born on the same day 100 years earlier and the practice of giving a child the name of the saint of the day were still in use, I would be an Agatha now...

That would make for an interesting post: what would our names be if we were given a name based on the Saint's day we were born on :)

Oh, it totally would make for a fun thread :)
I'm off now for an hour or two, but please, feel free to start the discussion! :)

I do that all the time :P
Also can't believe I didn't notice the Christiana and Christopher thing! That's basically give the kids the same name :/ Feel kinda bad for them now!
