There was this German tv-show called Berlin Berlin and one of the character was called Hart. He was a bit of a pervert.

I'm Dutch and this is the Dutch word for heart, which I think is quite sweet but it's still more of a word than a name for me.

I kind of like it. Where I live it's a bit weird to use it though, because the Dutch word for heart is spelled just like that, hart. But I still like it and I think it's usable anyway.

I like it =) For me, I'd only use it as a MN but I'd enjoy seeing it as a FN. I think it's spunky =)

I dislike Hart as a first name (on either sex). I can tolerate it as a masculine middle name, such as for honoring a female-line surname or something. :P It's not a feminine name at all to me. It makes me think of deer, as in the archaic word for a stag, 'hart'. If the meaning of 'heart' is desired, I much prefer Cora for a girl (deriving from Latin cor- or cordis).

Huh, that's kind of intriguing. I don't mind Hart as a first name, though I'd be more up for it as a nickname. Hartwell? Hartmann? Hartley?

I like Hart a lot, and think it works fine as a FN.
