Daisy
Been turning this name over in my mind for no particular reason, other than it's cute. I think it could work on the right kind of girl, maybe someone who isn't so sweet and fluffy like the name suggests. I would have loved to have seen it on a 90's riotgrrrl, for example. That would have worked.
WDYT? What color is it, and what type of impression does it give you?

I love Daisy. I keep it on my top ten list, I've been obsessed with it for a while now. It is so cute and sweet, but I don't really worry about it being too cutesy, or her not being taken as a adult in a serious professional. I went to law school with a Dixie and a Candee, and both are managing quite fine in life ;-) I also know a Daisy who is my age (early thirties) and she rocks it...she's a total tree hugger though so it's pretty perfect for her =)
Oh, and Daisy is green to me.

Daisy sounds too cutesy. It also sounds like a cartoon name or a pet's name.
It's bright yellow, and it is cute, but cute in the way tiny kittens climbing up the curtains are cute, or puppies roling around chasing their tails, or a little girl sucking a lollipop. It doesn't mature very well until you're an old lady in a flowery sunhat working in your garden.
I know two children called Daisy, they're both children, one is about 8/9 and the other 5. Both girls are blonde and sweet but I would not say they have frilly personalities at all! The older girl is quite fiery but friendly, very outgoing. While the 5 year old is very clever, she loves to talk your ear off about anything, and is highly regarded by her peers.
I see this name as pale pink. As pretty as it is, I find it really hard to see it on a respectable adult who doesn't play the "dumb-innocent" part.

Daisy is all yellow and orange to me. Very happy, cheerful and sunny. I would use Daisy IF I didn't foresee a big problem: a Daisy might struggle to be taken seriously. The name is very light and frilly... Daisy the police officer or judge or politician might have to work harder than Eleanor or Elizabeth
color - light blue
