Abigail
What is everyone's opinions on the name Abigail? It has been on my mind a lot lately. Its obviously a common name but it doesnt seem like its too trendy right now. I can remember really loving it as a kid, at least one of my babydolls was named Abigail all the time. I like that Abigail is classic and mature while Abby is young, cute, and fresh.
What are some combos you like either as a fn or mn?Abigail Rose (expected but still beautiful)
Abigail Christine
Abigail Corrine
Abigail Lindsey
Abigail Nicole
Abigail Patrice
Abigail Stacy
Abigail Troy

I like Abigail, I think :)I really like AbbeyI know two Abigail's. The first is 24, is super serious, intelligent and a bit socially awkwardThe second id 17, fun loving, bubbly and also intelligent, but more social and street-wise. both have dark brown hair and brown eyes. I find Abigail Rose boring as anything

Abigail Sky / Skye might be nice! I really like Abigail Patrice. Norah Abigail sounds nice as well.
I don't see what people dislike about Abby.

I have NEVER met an Abigail who went by her full name. It's always shortened to Abby. I agree that "Abby" sounds young, and it definitely sounds cute (too cutesy for my taste), but I don't find it fresh (I've heard it way too often). It'd be a nice change to see an Abigail. Yeah, it's kind of boring, but I like the "gail" sound, and as you say it is classic.

Um, well, Abigail reminds me of the name of an old-fashioned milkmaid (ditto with Hannah). Not exactly fresh, not exactly ugly. Just pretty dull. Abby is cute, I'll grant you that.Of your combos, I like:Abigail Rose (Yes, it's predictable but it works.)
Abigail Corinne (Now THIS is an unexpected mn.)
Abigail ChristineSuggestions:Abigail Susanna
Abigail Helena
Abigail Rosalie, Abigail Rosanna

Abigail is very popular and very trendy where I live. Little Abigail's are sisters to Ava and Olivia. I do not mind the full version of Abigail, but I hate Abby.

I don't like the name Abigail and never have. It's fugly. And I don't think that Abby is cute or fresh. I think it's fugly too.

I'm actually a Gail who's always been so, so grateful to have been spared the full Abigail. Simply cannot imagine having to go by the cutsie Abby.

I find Abigail deeply dull; Abby predictable and silly; Gail better but too climate-related; and none of the mns appeal to me except just possibly Lindsey, though it doesn't flow well with the -l in Abigail.
