Maia seems most classic to me with the most history. Maja is nice too with the right background. Still, Maia looks nicest to me.
Thoughts: It's a nice name that I could see myself using if it weren't so trendy (and therefore, having several variant spellings). Also, it sounds bad with my surname, Burns (sounding like 'my burns').
ETA that my fave Maia combo is Maia Cassandra.
