It's a nice name. I'd use it if it wasn't becoming too popular in my area. I like Maya best, followed by Maia.

I prefer Maia. It's a pretty name, but I'm growing tired of it. I feel like I see it a lot, usually spelled Maya or Mya.

I prefer Maia. Maya would probably make the pronunciation more obvious where I live. But I also think it would make it sound like the name was after the Maya peoples, whereas I associate it with the ancient Roman goddess. I wouldn't use Maja, because it'd be mispronounced like crazy in my city!

I like Maia the most. Maya would probably be less likely to be mispronounced where I live, but I prefer the look of Maia. I don't mind Maja, but I prefer Maia and Maya. They're more practical where I live anyways.

I love Maya, and Maia almost as much. Maja would be a difficult name to bear in the US.

I absolutely love it, especially Maia. I like Maya too, but not Maja.

Maja is very, very popular here. I cringe when I hear it, because it feels like pretty much all girls under the age of 10 are named Maja. Maya is a whole different name to me, though. I know it's pronounced the same and nobody would be able to tell Maya from Maja on the playground, but still... the spelling makes it so much more appealing. I like Maya, but I dislike Maja (and Maia).

Maia is one of my favorite names. Its sweet but still sophisticated. I don't like Maya that much because the y feels trendy to me. Maja is lovely too though but Maia would work better where I live.

I love Maya, and like Maia. I think Maja would have too many pronunciation problems. It's more commonly spelled Mya in Scotland now. It does get rid of the pronunciation problems, but I don't think it looks substantial enough that way. A work colleague recently spelled her daughter's name Maiya, which I think looks quite awkward.

Out of your list I like Maia, but personally I prefer Mya. Their is no way to mispronounce it that way. With Maya I could see people calling her May-a (as in the month) rather that My-a and Maja would probably be butchered by most people unfortunately. The name itself is sweet but Im not sure I would really use it. It just doesnt seem substantial enough for me. Too much like a nn.

Maia seems most classic to me with the most history. Maja is nice too with the right background. Still, Maia looks nicest to me.Thoughts: It's a nice name that I could see myself using if it weren't so trendy (and therefore, having several variant spellings). Also, it sounds bad with my surname, Burns (sounding like 'my burns').ETA that my fave Maia combo is Maia Cassandra.

I like Maia better than Maya. It is an okay name. I don't dislike it, but it is too trendy for my taste.

It's boring. The best is Maya.

I actially prefer Mya, that's my cousins name. It's more straightforward to me. But of your options I pick Maia. I think it's a nice name, a little boring but nice enough

Maya is okay, it's got more spirit than Mia anyway. Only that spelling.
