Charming or puke? You decide.

I think it's kind of cute. Kind of. Not too bad. Alright. I knew a Marnie who was named that because her mother's name was Marguerite and her father's name was Ernie so it was thought that Marnie combined elements of the two names.
Don't like it, reminds me of a pelican.
Ugh, I hate it. Not sure what about it is so unappealing, but it's REALLY unappealing to me.
I find it quite charming.
I'm undecided. It does have an unassuming retro cuteness to it that appeals to me on an imagery level. But the sound of the name is actually unattractive I think. I know of one whose full name is Marnina. The Marnie on GIRLS is so opposite of how I previously envisioned a bearer of Marnie to be, that it made me like the name more somehow. It previously felt so meaningless and trivial that it was like a silly joke in name form, but Marnie on GIRLS is so prim and serious that the character gave the name Marnie some real weight, IMO.
I like it a lot. It has a spunky retro vibe which appeals to me and I love the fact that the name means rejoice.
Puke. Sounds like an old woman who spits when she speaks and owns--and smells like--too many cats.
I've never thought it has the legs to stand on its own. Hitchcock's Marnie was a Margaret, and that suits me better.
I've always thought Marnie was one of the most repulsive names out there. So cheesy.
If I remember correctly, a lot of people on BTN like it. I don't though, the -arnie sound is really unattractive to me
