Yep. I'm always surprised if I see a set of BAs and no Alfie among them!About ten years ago when it had only just made it into the top 100 I liked it. It seemed fresh and a good way to potentially honour my granddad (although I doubt I'd have used it). Now though, I'm sick of seeing it and I can't help but associate it with badly behaved boys. I think I've seen too many little Alfies running riot in supermarkets and being yelled at by their mums which has put me off!

My cousin is 10 and he's called Alfie. When he was born I thought it was relatively unusual - I'd never met an Alfie before. Now there are loads of them, I guess he was at the beginning of the trend.The same happened with his younger brother, Harvey, whose name is also pretty common in the UK now.
