Hipster Nicknames

I personally do not like these nicknames. I feel like these people are trying too hard to be unique.
I want to add "Nnifer" for Jennifer.
I kind of like it... but really?

The only names I would consider "hipster" of the lot would be Trick and Fox. The others seem fairly normal for their given names :)
They all seem pretty standard to me. I really don't get a hipster vibe from any of them.
I don't think any of them are particularly hipster.
I know a super-hipster named Joshua who goes by Shua, which sounds like SHWAH.

"Trick" for Patrick is hilarious. And stupid.
That is so try-hard. And silly.
Some of them are obvious nns, some not so much. I have to say that I quite like Siah for Josiah =)
I don't think Siah for Josiah or Trick for Patrick are hipster. They just seem extremely artificial and gimmicky... like the kinds of things guys might call each other jokingly, almost trash-talk. Not like the kinds of short names people'd seriously introduce themselves with.
Shad for Shadrach seems really obvious, although the name Shadrach itself seems pretty "hipster."
Jojo also seems very ordinary as a nick, and so does Sky.
Faukson does shorten naturally to Fox. If Faukson was the person's first name, I'd suspect that it was coined just to get Fox, though. So it seems artificial in a way. Deck for Decker seems natural enough, but Decker is very trendy style, not what I'd call hipster.

The only one that strikes me as 'hipster' is Sky. The rest are just weird, IMO.
