Sean and Shane are awful as twin names

I think its a pity that they changed her name I mean Emily Alexandra is pretty but its not a patch on Alexandra Emily

Sean is a lovely name (I adore the Shaun spelling). Shane is ok. Together, the names are just two twinny. I like the idea of twin names connecting in some way (such as starting with the same letter or having the same meaning, etc) but Sean and Shane? Ugh.

Emily Alexandra is a simply beautiful name. A name I am considering for an original character in a fan fic. I know Emily is a popular name though that doesn't stop Emily Alexandra being such a lovely name.

i think Sean and Shane is terrible! Emily Alexandra is lovely but i agree Emily is exceedingly popular (but i still love it!)

i like sasha spelled sascha for a boy. I like Emily too and its on my list. Alexandra is nmsaa. If I adopted a baby from a different country and their name was something from that country and i liked it I wouldnt change it like Sergei or Sascha. It's a pretty name though.

Sean and Shane are two names that I have been debating with forever and ever when I think about naming my future son. Not good for twins though!!

As for your second cousin's new baby, I much prefer Alexandra to Emily. Sasha is so cute. I hope that is what she really goes by instead of Emily though. So cute!

I don't really think there was a good reason to change her first name to Emily (maybe add a mn) since not only is Alexandra nn Sasha a nice name, it's very easy as far as Russian names go for English speakers. I mean, it could have been Boleslava or Evpraksiya.

Sean and Shane > How stupid could a person be? I guess very. What are their middle name Evan & John? People really should have to take a test before they can name children.

Emily Alexandra > Nice, but Emily has been the #1 name since 1996. with 25,494 little girls last year and that doesn't even include other spellings such as Emilee, Emmalee and countless others.

It's a shame that they changed her name. I love the nn Sasha for a boy or a girl, plus it connects the baby to her roots.

Sean and Shane are ridiculous. It's kind of like the more babies a person has, the more stupid he or she gets about naming them.
